Domain registration agreement
This agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you (the "Registrant") and Talpress, operating as an authorized reseller for the OpenSRS registrar. By submitting a registration request through our interface, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined below, as well as the official policies of ICANN.
1. Registration Process The submission of registration data and payment of fees do not guarantee the successful registration of the requested domain. The registration is considered final and active only when the relevant global Registry officially confirms it in their systems, and you receive a formal registration confirmation email from us.
2. Accuracy of Contact Data (WHOIS) As the Registrant, you warrant and guarantee that all provided contact information is completely accurate, reliable, and up-to-date, and you commit to updating it immediately should any changes occur. In strict accordance with ICANN policy, providing inaccurate or false information, or failing to respond to validation/verification requests, constitutes a material breach of this agreement and provides grounds for immediate suspension or cancellation of the domain.
3. Term and Renewal The initial registration term corresponds to the period selected at checkout (typically 1 to 10 years, depending on the specific TLD rules). The renewal of the domain prior to its expiration date is your sole and exclusive responsibility. We strongly recommend enabling the "Auto-Renew" feature within the customer portal to prevent the unintentional expiration and loss of your domain name.
4. Domain Transfers All domain transfers (both inbound and outbound) are processed strictly in accordance with ICANN’s official Inter-Registrar Transfer Policy. Please note: A mandatory 60-day registration/transfer lock applies immediately following the initial registration of a new domain, a change in registrant details, or the completion of a previous transfer. During this 60-day period, the domain cannot be transferred to another registrar.
5. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total cumulative liability of Talpress, its officers, and affiliates, for any direct or indirect damages relating to the service, shall be strictly limited to the actual registration or renewal fees you paid for the specific domain in question.
6. Indemnification By registering and utilizing the domain, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Talpress and OpenSRS against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and legal expenses arising directly or indirectly from your use of the registered domain, the content hosted upon it, or your breach of this agreement.
