Accessibility statement

Talpress firmly believes that the internet should be available and accessible to anyone, and we are committed to providing a digital environment that is accessible to people with disabilities. We strive to adhere to the Israeli Standard 5568 at the AA level, as well as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 established by the W3C.

What We Did (Accessibility Adjustments) To ensure comprehensive accessibility, we have implemented the following technical and design features:

  • Structure and Semantics: The site is built using semantic HTML. We have implemented a logical, hierarchical heading order (H1-H6), and explicitly associated descriptive labels with every form field.

  • Keyboard Navigation: The platform is fully operable using only a keyboard. We have implemented highly visible focus states for all interactive elements and included skip links to allow users to bypass repetitive navigation and jump straight to the main content.

  • Assistive Technology Support: The interface defaults to Hebrew (RTL) but includes a fully accessible toggle for English (LTR). We utilize ARIA attributes to ensure that all dynamic form errors and status messages are accurately announced to screen readers and other assistive technologies.

  • Visual Design and Contrast: The user interface adheres to strict color contrast ratios, maintaining a minimum contrast of 4.5:1 for standard body text and 3:1 for large text and UI controls. Furthermore, the layout is responsive and supports up to 400% browser zoom without requiring horizontal scrolling.

  • Motion and Animation: Our CSS safely respects user OS preferences for "prefers-reduced-motion," automatically disabling or minimizing non-essential animations.

Known Limitations While we strive for perfect accessibility across all pages, there may be instances where third-party integrations fall short of our standards. Specifically, certain third-party iframes—such as the secure payment gateway iframe provided by Pelecard—are styled to visually match our brand, but their underlying code and absolute accessibility compliance are ultimately controlled by the external payment provider.
